Just got the email saying “Out for delivery”. Anyone else love the sound of a UPS truck?
Told my wife my hearing is going because i’m getting old. I have to make her repeat herself a lot. she said “Bullshit! you can hear the UPS truck from upstairs with TV on while it’s still half a mile away!”
if anyone needs me, i’ll be in the shop

I want my car to make UPS truck noises, the whoosh of the hybrid/electric motor sounds amazing!

When I was a kid they all had Chevy straight-sixes in them. I always thought they had the best exhaust note of any vehicle

sounds like someone had a bad experience. Care to elaborate?
In all fairness, I have issues with particular delivery people vs the company in large. i hated my old postal carrier. she would cram everything she could in the mailbox rather than having to walk 20 feet to the front door. Real fun to try to get a package out of your mailbox when it’s the same size as the mailbox itself. And because of her i didn’t mail for weeks last year. My parents live in the same town. they leave every winter and go down south in their gigantic RV. When they leave they have their mail forwarded to my house, and i send it to them once a month. last year, the (fe)mailman put the forward notice in their box at the post office, then for some reason put another in my box! so our mail kept getting forwarded back and forth. and when your mail gets forwarded, it doesn’t go back to the local post office. it goes to a distribution center, which here is 100 miles away! i complained to the post master. now i have a new mailman....
